So, I've just moved to London after years of saying 'I'll never move to London; I'm not cut out for it, it's too expensive, I'm a small town kinda girl'. But, alas, here I am. In central London, zone 1, sirens screaming outside my window.
This blog is basically my way of recording all my fun, exciting and slightly crazy adventures in the big city- as I know there will be many! I also hope to do one weird tourist thing a month. Currently, I'm thinking cat cafés and treasure hunting on the underground. But, we'll see.
I'm running with the same naming theme as my Year Abroad blog Salsa, Sand and Shawarmas. I know this one isn't as catchy, but I couldn't think of many London 'S's. My dad tried to help and the best he came up with was 'sandals'- but I don't think he really got what I was going for...
